Soldier regiments
The memorial's own plaques carry the definitive lists of Indian and Canadian regiments. Those lists belong here — transcribed from the approved plaque artwork, not assembled from elsewhere.
Awaiting the plaque transcription
Two granite plaques at the memorial record the Indian regiments and the Canadian regiments of the First World War. Those are the authoritative lists for this project, and reproducing them accurately means working from the approved artwork rather than reconstructing them from secondary sources.
Once the artwork is supplied, each regiment becomes its own entry with its raising, service and the theatres it fought in.
