Terms of use

Historical content

Historical material on this site carries a source citation and a review status. It is offered in good faith and checked against the cited sources, but history is revised as records surface. If you find an error, please tell us — corrections are welcome and acted on.

Images and reconstructions

Some imagery on this site is artistic reconstruction or architectural rendering rather than archival photography. Anything of that kind is labelled as such wherever it appears. No generated or reconstructed image on this site is presented as an authentic historical photograph, and none should be reproduced as one.

Using our content

You are welcome to link to this site, and to quote short passages for education, research, journalism or remembrance with attribution. Reproducing images, or substantial amounts of text, requires permission — some material is held under licence from third parties and is not ours to grant.

Enquiries and bookings

Submitting the contact form does not confirm an event registration, group visit or sponsorship agreement. Arrangements are confirmed only in a direct reply from the memorial team.
